Pride is about showing up as yourself, loudly and joyfully, and being met with a room that is glad you did. So for Pride, we did the most ANJA thing we could think of: we threw a drag bingo night.
Picture big wigs, bigger personalities, and a whole lot of dabbers hovering over bingo cards waiting for that one number. Our performers brought the looks and the laughs, the crowd brought the energy, and Highland Park brought the love. It was equal parts competitive and completely ridiculous, in the best way.
ANJA is a minority- and women-owned business, and inclusion is not a seasonal thing for us. It is who we are the other eleven months of the year, too. Hosting a night like this is our way of saying what we always mean: everyone belongs here.
Huge thank you to our performers and to everyone who packed the room, dressed up, and played along. Whether you shouted "bingo!" or just came to cheer, you made the night.
