In India the word, "chai" means "tea." It is a blend of tea with spices, producing a concoction which awakens the taste buds. Our blend of this treasured Indian tradition combines an intricate blend of Assam and Ceylon bases with cardamom, almonds, chocolate pieces, clove and peppercorns make up this Chai.
Ceylon is a black Pekoe tea whose leaves have been fermented before drying, while Assam is named for its region of production.

1 heaping tbs. makes one 10 oz to 16 oz cup of hot tea.
3.5 oz of loose leaf tea is approximately 42 cups of tea.
